Located in the hip setting of Tribeca, Tanya Taylor’s #NYFW show this week was set to wow every observer. Brightly colored orange and yellow reeds shot up from the stage, carving out nooks for the models to display their wares. Tanya’s line featured models with sleek, low ponytails and some with natural hair, sporting outfits that ran the gamut from casual to dressy. The room was so brilliantly illuminated that shadows from the stalks almost seemed to come alive on the floor.
Highlights of the collection included outfits with one patterned top and bottom in contrasting colors; a backless shiny sequin top with ties hanging almost down to the floor; and orange, yellow, blue, and pink pop-of-color fur throws that complemented the outfits. It’s the smallest details Tanya adds that complete her ensembles. Tanya herself—looking gorgeous as always—had on a black and white polka dot dress of modest length.
