Of all the trends for fall, what’s the one that spreads itself out in wardrobes with both versatility and some real attitude? Fringe. It never overshadows an outfit, and yet always manages to lend an interesting detail that elevates your look. (Fringe also made its way into the Spring ’16 runway collections at New York Fashion Week, too, btw. So buying it now is much more a longer-term investment than satisfying a here-and-now urge.)
Our dressperts at Gretta Luxe (yes, that’s what we call our style experts there) have their hands on some mighty fine specimens of beautiful fringed pieces for fall. And they’re having a blast styling clients up in classic-but-edgy creations like Derek Lam’s fringed belt top, in navy silk:
Then there’s Chloe’s blue and grey wool blend check coat, which comes complete with a mid-length, asymmetric cut and subtly cool fringe:
The piece de resistance? The sweater we’ll all be living in this fall—Yigal Azrouel’s cozy-as-can-be fringed sweater. (It’s in the top photo, above.) Consider it your absolute go-to for making cooler temperatures as cool as possible.
Give us a shout at Gretta Luxe (781-237-7010) to find out more about living on the fringe.
