I’ve been pretty much over the moon about the feedback getting thrown our way since we launched my new show, Brides Gone Styled last week! And this week’s episode’s got me just as giddy.
In it you’ll meet our newest bride, Georgette. Her dilemma is that she’s stuck in an uber-dowdy rut. She says she wants loose, a long-sleeved wedding dress with a turtleneck (nope, I’m not kissing) with no bling, no lace, no anything. Not surprisingly, her family fears that one day she’ll regret having worn a boring, dull, and shapeless muumuu.
Over the course of the show we notice that she actually has an amazing, curvy figure. So we decide that our challenge is to get to the heart of her stubborn stance on wearing unflattering clothing that’s drowning her natural beauty. That’s no small task, it turns out.
In this episode, as in every one, we never tell any bride what she must wear. Our mission is to help every bride to realize her true style personality. So that means we work with our brides to overcome their fears and self-image limitations, so they can reach their full bridal style potential. And with any luck, we hope that means they wind up walking down the aisle in self-expressive style.
I can’t wait for you to see the episode. The show airs every Thursday night at 9:30/8:30C. And as always, I also can’t wait to hear any feedback you’ve got for me; send it right here.
